Our History
After 4 years in commercial carpentry and building houses, Steve started S.F. Pauli Builders with one employee in 1977. The business incorporated in 1978 and continued to grow as a general contractor in Peoria. A large portion of our work was on historic homes in the Moss/Bradley area.
In 2015 with an eye toward retirement, Steve began partnering with Jeremy Lowrance, owner of Rustic Oaks Lawn and Grounds.
Now with an expanded staff and a new location in East Peoria, we continue to provide carpentry service and general contracting to homeowners and businesses, specializing in home remodeling, commercial remodeling, and room additions.
Professional/Technical Competence
All of our lead carpenters have years of experience in the construction field. Our combined classroom training includes a Small Business Management certificate from Bradley University, an Associates Degree in Bookkeeping from Illinois Central College and a BS degree in Business Management from Illinois State University. We are also certified in Lead Paint Safety and enjoy an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.
